TRAVEL INFORMATION
The conference will be held in Institute for Advanced Biosciences (IAB), Keio University, Tsuruoka, Japan. IAB is located close to Shonai Airport and easily accessible from this airport by bus or taxi (20 min drive).
A free bus is available if you take the flight as bellow;

Local bus (from Shonai airport to Tsuruoka city) is available as well (JPN 740).
Access to Shonai airport
Firstly most of international flights arrive at Tokyo Narita airport.
After you arrive at Narita, please take the limousine bus to Haneda
domestic airport. (75min., 3000yen/way)
ANA has 4 flights/day from Haneda airport to Shonai airport.
Attached is the timetable of May 2008.
(They haven't opened their timetable of Sep 2008 yet.)
There is the rule that you can reserve the domestic flight from Haneda
210min. at least later than your arrival to Narita.
Foreign Currency Exchange
It is recommended that participants purchase Japanese yen prior
to leaving theirown countries or at Narita (Tokyo) International
Airport upon arrival.
Exchange of major currencies is available at major banks, airports
and large hotels in Japan, however, please note that hotels located
in the area surrounding the conference venue are UNABLE to exchange
currency.
